We conducted tidal creek import and export measurements in mid October on the four sites we’ve been working on during 2016. Daylight is in somewhat shorter supply this time of year, though the tides still take about 12 hours. So we had to get out to the sites while it was still dark, work through the day, and leave the sites once it was dark again. The days were long, but it was kind of nice to see sunrise and sunset from the exact same spot!
